How can I keep my dog in the garden?
We are moving from an apartment to a rental house that has a patio. We specifically sought a house with a yard for our boxer (which is almost 1 year old) could run outside, because she's always been in an apartment and a leash to go outside. We would not have her on a leash, but the house doesn't have a fence, and we can build a (the city has some kind of rule against the fences). Is there any way we can have it in the yard? We are looking at tie-downs and thought about the underground fence where the dog has a special collar that shocks it if you try to exit the yard (I guess thats how it works, I havent really studied too). Anyone know any pros or cons of these methods or have any to suggest new ones? We love our puppy to get some freedom, but do not want to walk to your needs! : O)
Find another house to rent in a different city. Where in the world Do not allow billboards, it's the craziest thing I ever heard. It is illegal here to leave a dog tied up, fun to not allow billboards, but can with a dog tied up all day. Do not waste your time on the invisible fence. The dog may run right through the download, not to mention marauding dogs can enter and attack your dog.
