creative advice for pet Halloween costum contest!?
I had posted previously about my ideas to dress Spike to enter a competition Pet Costume Halloween. I'm going with the idea of rocker and see how it goes. It has a head harness, belt, y-shirt, and I got a necklace of nails. I'll try to find a small guitar play to put on the back and some sunglasses. I also want to make him a mohawk, which is the main thing I would like advice on. Any ideas on how I can make one? All that really can think of doing is buying a small wig and cut to size, also cut and picks up the hair. How I can tip the hair and connect the Mohawk and sunglasses on top of the head to where they will stay for a while and will not hurt? Here is a picture of my ... Pomeranian: once loud and irritable for most petted and pampered
The Pomeranian in its early years was found to be quite loud, irritable and even dangerous for children. Today Pom is one of the most petted and pampered of the toy breeds. He continues to gain popularity and is today very popular as pets.
The Pomeranian is known as fact., Loup Loup-Vorpommern, Wolf Hound, Volpmo and Spitz. The original Spitz was much larger, twenty pounds or so, and it was pointed out to be, moody and sullen, with a few friends and many enemies. It seems almost impossible that our present-day Pomeranian with their sweet dispositions, very small, and a beautiful array of colors could have ever come from the same stock at the Spitz. There is no evidence that other blood never introduced was.
There is little doubt that the Pomeranian originated in "Pomerania," a small province in Eastern Germany. The early Poms weighed as much as 35 pounds. The first Pomeranian ever heard of in England was very light yellow color. They were longer in the body and very fox-like in head, expression and movement, which eventually went out. The Spitz first appeared in the shows in England as a pure white dog. Later, other colors of black and imported from Germany. These were much smaller and the breeding of the smaller began in England. The appearance of a Pomeranian should be coupled to a compact, short dog. It must in its to demonstrate great intelligence expression and activity. A little girl that was in 1819, the granddaughter of Queen Charlotte, Victoria was a devoted dog lover. In her life she had more than 15 different breeds and have been in later years, pay particular attention to the Pomeranians.
On their journey to Italy in 1888 she bought a Red Sable Pomeranian, which she called Mark. Marco weighed just 12 pounds.
